AEP MEMBER CONFERENCE & AWARDS

2020 CONFERENCE DESTINATION

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
LOS ANGELES, CA — We are pleased to announce that Bangkok, Thailand has been selected as the destination for the 2025 AEP Member Conference & Awards. The President of the Associated ePress (AEP), Mr. Tony Bond, will travel to Bangkok in November to finalize venue arrangements. Once secured, all members will receive official notification via personal email. Preparations will commence immediately upon confirmation of the event site.

We anticipate that the 2025 conference will be our most dynamic and inspiring gathering to date, and we strongly encourage members to begin making their travel arrangements as early as possible.

For over thirty-five years, AEP has remained steadfast in its commitment to supporting and empowering media professionals around the globe. This year promises to uphold that tradition, with an exciting showcase of international talent emerging from regional qualifying rounds.

Among this year’s distinguished honorees is Mr. Chalard Nameklarp, Editor-in-Chief of AEP’s Bangkok bureau, who will receive the Triangle of the Arts Award. Mr. Nameklarp’s exceptional contributions to journalism have resonated with readers and institutions worldwide, earning him widespread respect and recognition.

The 2025 ceremony will be hosted by James Maddison. There will be a wonderful array of events throughout the evening, and at the same time, we’ll feature a lineup of distinguished speakers—one of whom is a Nobel Prize laureate, along with several respected individuals who have since entered a well-earned retirement.
